Retired after 37 years teaching Mathematics in secondary education in London and having worked in six schools holding senior management roles with responsibilities for timetabling, finance, data systems, raising achievement and managing PFI.  Served on three governing bodies, a council education committee and was area president of a teachers' union.  I have worked with Kings College, London University and SIM's in developing resources and systems.
Mrs Sarah Peck (Vice Chair) Moved to Cumbria in 1985 from London where I was working having being born and brought up in Suffolk.  I am married and have two children who attended Keswick School.  I am a diagnostic radiographer but for the last 17 years I have been working in primary schools.  I have been a Governor for over 20 years holding the position of Chair for 6 years.  I am a National Leader of Governance, supporting schools throughout Cumbria.

Prof Bob Fowler  Educated at Queen’s Collage, Oxford (MA) Queen’s University, Belfast, Guildhall School of Music and Drama (LGSM) holding numerous posts including at Royal Belfast Academical Inst, Head of Department Forest Gate E7, several tours of West Africa for the British Council, Warden, Bretton Hall College, Deputy Principle Sittingbourne College, HM Staff Inspector with national responsibility for the Arts, Chief External Examinerships include Trinity College Dublin, Hong Kong Council for Academic Accreditation, Vice President, European League of Institutes of the Arts, Principle and Chief Executive, The Royal Central School, London University.   Awarded an OBE for services to Higher Education.

We moved to Cumbria in 1998 and have two children.  I have been a Governor of the local primary school for over 13 years and currently chair their Finance Committee.  I have a Mechanical Engineering degree and I am involved with projects through our family consultancy business.  Heavily involved in the local community through role as a Parish Councillor and local fundraising groups for the community.
Mrs Sue Leigh Governor at a primary school for 9 years before becoming governor of Keswick School a post held now for over 20 years. Currently working for the Local Authority as governor support in the Learning Improvement Service and before this, I was a biology teacher for 25 years, mostly in secondary and FE. Has lived in West Cumbria for more than 30 years.
Dr Jan Boniface

Live in Keswick and run a tourism related business. I have been a Governor for almost 14 years with both children attending Keswick School. Particular interests in the sciences, the sixth form and in the interaction of the school with the local community.
Mr Mark Ainsworth

Moved to Keswick in 2009 and I am married with three grown children, one who attended Keswick School.  I am currently Head of Centre at the local residential outdoor activity centre and have spent the previous 20 years years working as a schools outreach worker on behalf of the church.  Over the last 20 years I have been a Governor at various schools, including both primary and secondary age groups.

A Governors for 3 years and have two children in the lower years of the school. We moved to Keswick in 2004, initially to run a guest house and now I work in Business Improvement at Cumbria County Council, undertaking project work with teams across the council to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency savings.
Mrs Linda Boal GovernorI moved to West Cumbria in 1975 from Yorkshire and have been involved in education since my daughter started in primary school.  I worked at the village primary school, eventually becoming Chair of Governors.  In 2003, I fulfilled my ambition and trained as a teacher.  My daughter attended Keswick School starting my involvement with the school.

Lives near St Bees and all three of my children attend Keswick School.  I am a Systems Manager and Safety Representative but also carry out the role of a STEM Ambassador and Secondary School Liaison Officer to Keswick School for my company.  A volunteer with the North West Ambulance as a Community First Responder.

I arrived in Keswick as the new vicar of St John's and Borrowdale in 2016 and have two children at Keswick School in Year 7 and 9.  I have served on previous school governing bodies being involved in areas including school buildings, finance and curriculum.

Governor (Chair of Personnel and Safeguarding Governor)
Appointed Governor for over 3 years with both children attending Keswick School. I am employed as a Project Engineer and outside of work voluntary treasurer of a local girls' football team. 
Mrs Kay McDonald Staff GovernorI have lived in Cumbria since 1993.  I have been employed at Keswick School since 2008. At present I am a chemistry teacher and a teaching staff governor of Keswick School Multi Academy Trust.

Employed as a Health and Safety Manager and also a parent of children attending the school. Work to support the key core functions of the governing body and be a source of challenge and support to the school to ensure it maintains its high standards and meets future challenges.

Previously a Design & Technology teacher both in London and overseas, finishing my teaching career as Head of Dept in a very large secondary school in Hong Kong. Children have attend and are attending Keswick School.  Co-chair of Kids Keswick and I am a committee member for Borrowdale PTA.

I have been at teacher at Keswick School for 12 years. I am Head of History and teach both History and Government and Politics.  I have been a staff Governor for the last 5 years.

I am current parent of the school children in Year 7 and Year 9 having being a former pupil.  I am part of the wider community of Keswick having been involved in community groups and initiatives having close links with St Herbert's School, in particular the Parent Teacher Association.

Mrs Helen Trott  Governor

I moved to Cumbria with family in 2014 having previously lived in Manchester, Switzerland and London.  I have two children who will both be attending Keswick School by September 2018.  I am a banking/financial services lawyer, currently working for a newly created mortgage lender.  I have previously held roles as a Board Trustee member of Homestart Trafford and Salford and also PTA roles.

Mrs Amanda Wilson
Governor
Cumbrian born and bred, I returned to the Governing Body in 2018, following a previous period as a Governor between 2010 and 2014.  My children completed their secondary education at Keswick School and my youngest is now in sixth from.  An HR specialist by profession, I have worked across private and public sectors and I look forward to supporting the school in the years ahead.
