Overview

ICT is an exciting tool, at the heart of 21st century society and one of today's keys to learning. At Keswick School we aim to teach all students to make the most of ICT to support their learning.

Keswick School has a long standing tradition of encouraging all pupils use ICT as a tool to assist their studies in all subject areas. We aim to ensure that pupils, regardless of ability or gender, leave school with a basic foundation in the main areas of ICT use and have been exposed to as many ICT related experiences as possible. This is becoming more and more important in an increasingly technological society; our pupils will be expected to possess and to use ICT skills on leaving school, whether this is directly for work or on to further education.

The school has a high reputation both locally and nationally for the breadth and quality of its innovative ICT provision.
