RPE
Overview
The RPE Department at Keswick School offers philosophically based schemes of work. It is a popular subject with large numbers opting to take RPE at GCSE, AS and A' Level.
The aims of the Department are to:
- Make sense of the world we live in by considering ultimate questions
- Teach tolerance and respect to all. It counters ignorance and prejudice
- Teach the facts about religions to help us make informed decisions
- Lets you express your own views and help you to respect and understand the views of others
- Our work is relevant to all whatever your beliefs, whatever your ability, whatever your age
- We are child-centred and diverse in content and approach
- We celebrate diversity in culture and belief
- We hope to develop a sense of awe about the world we live in
