Galapagos and Ecuador Expedition

This Summer twenty students, two teachers and one crazy leader made the long journey to South America. Over four weeks the group, who hardly even knew each other's names, explored, adventured, worked and had fun together. By the end of the trip they were one incredibly strong team.

The expedition began with the amazing Galapagos islands, followed by three weeks based at several different camps helping the local communities. In this time, the team helped to build a much-needed medical centre, water collection containers in communities with serious drought problems, mud walls to protect precious crops, refurbishment and maintenance work of class rooms and school playgrounds and many other projects. The students also taught English classes to the local communities and integrated with the local people by playing sports and joining in with cultural events.

The experiences and memories made on this trip will last a life-time. I hope you enjoy this short film about our expedition!
