Attitudes to Learning Grade Descriptors

Our values include preparing students to be independent, resilinet and life-long learners. This means we want students to understand how, as well as what, they learn and how they can take increasing responsibility for their own learning as they get older.

Each subject provides students with an ‘attitude to learning’ grade (AtL) three times a year which is included in students’ progress reports to parents. The descriptors listed below have been designed for each key stage and students also have copies of these in their planners.
